Bio-Food Grade™ Gear Oil is an NSF H1 food grade biosynthetic gear lubricant designed for gear drives, right-angle reducers, and enclosed gear systems used in food processing, packaging, and other sensitive applications. Formulated with ingredients that are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS), it provides a safe and compliant solution for equipment operating in and around food production environments.

Designed to replace conventional petroleum-based gear oils, this biodegradable gear oil delivers excellent wear protection, mild extreme pressure (EP) performance, oxidation stability, corrosion resistance, and strong water separation (demulsibility). It is well-suited for gear systems requiring reliable performance without aggressive EP additives, including applications involving yellow metals.

Incorporating high viscosity index base stocks, this biosynthetic formulation provides consistent performance across a wide range of operating temperatures while improving efficiency and extending equipment life. Suitable for use in environmentally sensitive areas including food processing, agriculture, marine, and water treatment facilities, it meets EPA VGP requirements for environmentally acceptable lubricants (EALs) in select viscosities and is manufactured under kosher supervision.
